Sculpted wooden mirror with a smooth-grooved rebate, a profile worked with open leaves, and foliage volutes that, departing from the center of the lower side, are held by a pleated ribbon and develop upwards along the sides of the frame with an openwork carving. In the upper part, two large opposing flowers form the crest and are also tied by a long pleated ribbon. The gilding is water gilding with pure gold, and the contemporary mirror is mercury-gilded. Area of origin: Papal States. Period: late 17th century, early 18th century. Measurements: 130 cm X 100 cm
